What is “Positive Action”?

Generally speaking, “Positive Action” refers to provisional measures implemented with the purpose of realizing substantive equal opportunity by providing special opportunities within a certain scope for people who are disadvantaged by social or structural discrimination.
Nagasaki University is registered on the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare’s “Positive Action Support Site”.
