Consultation services regarding child-rearing
To enable women researchers to better study and work at Nagasaki University, the Women Researchers Support Office provides various consultation services on issues ranging from balancing research (work) and child-rearing to career development. Consultation meetings are strictly confidential and care is taken to respect consulters’ privacy so that they are able to undergo consultation with peace of mind.
Consultation services regarding balance between work and nursing care
This system provides consultation services regarding all matters related to nursing care, solving issues such as “I don’t know who I should consult,” “I want to know what public services are available,” or “I would like to find out about on-campus support systems”. These services are available to all staff members regardless of their occupation or working style, or whether or not they are already providing nursing care for someone. Personal information shared during consultations will only be disclosed to the nursing care consultant and Center Director.
Even when it is necessary in order to provide support, the consulter’s personal information will not be disclosed to anyone other than the nursing care consultant and Center Director without the consulter’s permission, so please rest assured that your privacy will be maintained when undergoing consultation.

Consultation services regarding sexual minorities (LGBT+)
At Nagasaki University, gender identity and sexual orientation diversity and rights are respected. The university aims to create a campus where everyone can live their lives true to themselves.
You can consult with us about any anxieties you have or matters you wish to talk about related to your sexual orientation or conflict regarding gender identity. At present, the content of consultation services that can be provided depends on the situation of the individual consulter as well as the university’s circumstances, so although it may not always be possible for the university to provide the support you seek, please do not hesitate to consult with us. Consultation is strictly confidential and care is taken to respect consulters’ privacy so that they can consult with peace of mind.
