In March 2016, we published “The ABCs of Pregnancy and Childcare – For Working Individuals” as part of our support for balancing work with childbirth and childcare. A revised edition was issued in October 2025.
This handbook includes information on national and local government support systems related to pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare, as well as Nagasaki University’s own regulations, support programs offered by the Diversity Promotion Center, on-campus childcare facilities, and support systems for hospital staff.
We encourage not only faculty and staff who are currently raising children, but also those who may experience childbirth and childcare in the future, to make full use of this resource.
