Nagasaki Univasity Work Style Innovation(WSI)
This program aims to improve the research environment by taking into account researchers’ life events and work-life balance, and to foster a shift in campus-wide attitudes toward these goals.
We will select multiple teams, each consisting of a work unit of approximately 10 members (such as a laboratory or department). Over a period of about eight months, each team will carry out a series of PDCA cycle initiatives—covering “identifying issues, reviewing work practices, implementing improvement measures, and reflection”—while utilizing work analysis tools such as “morning and evening emails” and receiving support from specialized consultants.
※Nagasaki University’s Work Style Innovation initiative has been featured on the WORK LIFE BALANCE Co., Ltd. website as a case study of a company that has successfully transformed its work practices.
